{"id":430,"date":"2014-07-25T18:41:00","date_gmt":"2014-07-25T18:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cinnamonstudio.com\/blog\/2014\/07\/25\/a-day-on-the-range-2\/"},"modified":"2014-07-25T18:41:00","modified_gmt":"2014-07-25T18:41:00","slug":"a-day-on-the-range-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cinnamonstudio.com\/blog\/2014\/07\/a-day-on-the-range-2.html","title":{"rendered":"A Day on the Range"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\nCalling All Cowboys<\/p>\n<p>In the US we have a \u201cmini\u201d holiday every day. &nbsp;For instance \u201ctake you cat to work day&#8221; or \u201cpotato farmers\u2019 appreciation day\u201d. &nbsp;Well, this weekend is Cowboy Appreciation Day. &nbsp;Here, in the west, we take our cowboys seriously. &nbsp;When I was growing up every boy and girl had, at one time or another, a cowboy\/cowgirl outfit complete with hat, boots, fringed jacket, sheriff\u2019s badge and a holstered cap gun.<br \/>\nTV shows made life on the ranch seem glamorous, exciting and a bit dangerous.<\/p>\n<p>\nThis part of Americana has left us a legacy of designer cowboy boots and hats, which fetch a tidy sum, for wannabe wranglers.
