{"id":366,"date":"2015-12-08T18:41:00","date_gmt":"2015-12-08T18:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cinnamonstudio.com\/blog\/2015\/12\/08\/holiday-shopping-4\/"},"modified":"2015-12-08T18:41:00","modified_gmt":"2015-12-08T18:41:00","slug":"holiday-shopping-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cinnamonstudio.com\/blog\/2015\/12\/holiday-shopping-4.html","title":{"rendered":"Holiday Shopping"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<div>\nHitting Those Sales<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\nBecause the Thanksgiving Holiday was late this year we have<br \/>\none less week until Christmas.&nbsp;<br \/>\nActually, Hanukkah is being celebrated extra early.&nbsp; So one must be out and about enjoying the<br \/>\nholiday shopping experience (unless, of course, you are one of the plan-ahead<br \/>\npeople who finish their gift list in July).<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\nThere are alternatives to fighting for parking places at the<br \/>\nmall.&nbsp; My&nbsp; poor car was hit the other day by a woman who pulled out of a<br \/>\nspace without looking, fortunately no one was injured, but it surely didn\u2019t put<br \/>\nme into good spirits.<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\nMany shoppers are online, many use catalogs.&nbsp; But whatever method you use there are<br \/>\noccasionally price shocks.&nbsp; For<br \/>\ninstance, one might think a safe gift would be a scarf for the hard-to-buy-for<br \/>\ngentleman on your list.&nbsp; In one of my<br \/>\nfavorite blog resources,&nbsp; The Wall Street<br \/>\nJournal featured a small article \u201cThe Wrap Game\u201d Nov.9, 2013 .&nbsp; Illustrated were 5 scarves of various fiber<br \/>\ncontents ranging in price from $75 to $605 !!!!<\/div>\n<div>\nBut that wasn\u2019t bad enough.&nbsp;<br \/>\nIn the Style and Travel section, Tuesday, Nov.21, 2013 Christina Binkley<br \/>\nwrote an article entitled \u201cSweater Sticker Shock\u201d.&nbsp; These basic-looking sweaters carried&nbsp; a heafty, not-so-basic tag of $1,250 to $2,000.&nbsp; For a sweater!!
